Paste the postback into CJ Affiliate
UTMCAP builds the postback URL for you on your own tracking domain. We do not print an example here because CJ Affiliate has not published its macro names, and a guessed macro is the kind of mistake that quietly costs you revenue.
Worth knowing: CJ has no server-to-server postback. Your click id goes out as sid — 64 characters, and the whole click URL has to stay under 1000 — and conversions have to be pulled from their API. Nothing will ever arrive at a postback URL.

- Yes. CJ Affiliate is in the catalogue with its parameters and macros taken from its own documentation, so the postback works without you mapping anything by hand.
- What happens if a conversion arrives days later?
- It still finds its click. The postback carries the click id, so a sale approved a week after the click attaches to that click and is dated when it happened. A status change updates the same conversion rather than adding a second one.
- What does this cost?
