UTMCAP

Compared

UTMCAP or Binom

Binom is the flat-fee answer: one licence, any volume, on a server you own and run. The comparison is not really about price per click — it is about whether you want to run a server.

Their figures were read off their own pricing page on 2026-09-25. Prices change; if one below is out of date, tell us and it gets corrected.

What you are billed for

The two prices are not counting the same thing.

“Are there any traffic limitations? No, you can buy a billion clicks and only pay the licensing fee for their processing.”
— Binom pricing page, read 2026-09-25

Nothing is metered, so no funnel shape costs more than another. What you pay for instead is the machine: their own sizing guide puts a server between about €9 and €215 a month depending on how many clicks a minute you push through it, and the hours to keep it patched are yours.

Where Binom is better

The reasons not to move.

Written first, because a comparison page that finds nothing good to say about the other product is not a comparison.

Where we are better

The reasons to.

  • Nothing to run

No Ubuntu version to match, no server to size, nobody paged when a disk fills. Their own documentation lists the hosts to avoid, which tells you how much of this job is yours.

  • The redirect is answered near the visitor

Ours runs at Cloudflare’s edge in about 300 cities. Across the 25 countries we measure every week, half are answered within 37 ms. One server in one city cannot do that for a visitor on the other side of the world.

  • The real bill at a smaller size

$29 against $149 plus a server, before the $99 bot-filtering add-on. Below a few million clicks a month the licence costs more than the traffic is worth.

  • Bot filtering, backups and monitoring included

Filtering is on every plan, backups are taken and tested weekly for you, and a monitor outside our network watches the whole thing. Self-hosted, each of those is a job you own.

The verdict, including when it is not us. Pick Binom if you are past a few million clicks a month, you want your data on your own disk, and you are comfortable running a Linux server. Pick us if you would rather spend those hours buying traffic, or you are not yet at the volume where a flat licence pays for itself.

Questions

The ones that decide it.

What is not built here is listed on the platforms page rather than left out of this one.

Also compared

Is a self-hosted tracker cheaper?
Past a certain volume, yes. Their licence is $149 a month, or $104 paid yearly, plus a server from about €9 to €215 a month by their own sizing guide, plus your time. Ours is $29 for a million clicks and $159 for ten million, with nothing to run.
Is a server nearer my traffic faster?
Only for the part of the world it is near. A single machine in Frankfurt answers a visitor in Jakarta slowly, whatever it costs. Ours answers from the nearest of about 300 cities.
Can I move from Binom to UTMCAP?
Your campaigns have to be rebuilt, because the two do not share a format, but the links keep working if they are on your own domains. Send us a CSV export and we will tell you honestly whether the move is worth it.

Run one campaign through both.

A hundred thousand clicks a month and no card, which is enough to see whether the numbers agree with the ones you already have.
